Portrait
Who is sugarbear?
sugarbear is a singer-songwriter, singer, lyricist, musician and music producer. But what he loves most is singing, and his vocals convey the full spectrum of emotions, from velvety-smooth and seductive to vulnerable and tender, right through to self-assured and strong – sometimes even all within a single song…
sugarbear’s music is as varied as a colourful box of chocolates and ranges somewhere between pop, rock, folk and chanson.
The songs reflect real-life experiences and an irrepressible zest for life; they combine passion with meaning, provoke thought, encourage reflection and, at the same time, provide excellent entertainment.
What drives sugarbear?
The state of the world, life in all its diversity, freedom and its limits, gender relations, love and death.
